Team D4K did a great job this weekend in California. Kylie took home first place with a -21 score, carrying herself like a pro the whole time. Martin received 4th place in his division. His score of-19 was only two strokes from the lead. Ivan went home with a 2nd place with a score of -24, and threw the first ace of his career! Discing4Kids is so proud of our team and the way they carried ourselves this weekend.

Ivan Bengson is a young charismatic boy from Cottonwood Arizona. He was born in Cottonwood on July 18, 2010. His parents Steven and Regina Bengson are Arizona natives both born in Flagstaff, Arizona. He is the youngest of three children. He has one older brother Martin and an older sister Santana.
Ivan is a very active athlete and participates in all sports available at his age, including: soccer, baseball, basketball, swimming, and disc golf. He also likes whatever his older brother is in to, as he looks up to him highly. He also loves school, especially when doing his favorite subjects of reading and math. He is in second grade now and is a straight A student.
The latest activity he has been passionate about has been disc golf. He was introduced to disc off around June 2016 and since has been obsessed with the sport. His focus and drive to be better has paid off and earned him a spot on discing4kids team, which he is very appreciative of and proud to be on.
Kylie took first place in the Daniel Boe Memorial Tournament this year, which is a great honor. As one third of the team, she represented discing4kids well throughout this entire event. See the higlights to the left. Congrats on the win Kylie!
Martin Bengson is an all-around athlete and intelligent 12-year-old boy from Cottonwood Arizona. He was born in Cottonwood Arizona March 26 of 2005. His parents, Steven and Regina Bengson, are also Arizona natives and were both born in Flagstaff, Arizona. Martin is the oldest child with a younger sister and brother named Santana and Ivan. Martin goes to Cottonwood middle school and is a and a A-B student. His favorite subjects are math and science.
Although he plays just about every sport, his favorites are soccer, basketball, and disc golf. He started playing disc golf around June 2016. His dad was interested in getting him into something new to do with the whole family. It quickly turned into something they all became very passionate about. Martin caught on quickly and proved to be an absolute natural. He stayed focused on getting better and did just that. Since his first tournament in March 2017 he has obtained three 1st Place wins in the PDGA sanctioned events. He has also been recognized by Eddie Diaz, the CEO of Discing4kids, and was almost immediately put on the team . Since his sponsorship with D4K he remains humble and even more focused to do better in the sport he loves.
Kylie Schenavar is a young and aspiring 9 year-old disc golf athlete from Kingman, Arizona. When she is not playing disc golf, she enjoys playing soccer, writing stories, reading, and dancing.
She has been playing disc golf since she was 7 years old. In her past two years, she has grown and learned a lot. Her favorite experience with disc golf was when she placed first in her division at the Women's Global Event. She has also enjoyed being the highest rated player in her division. Kylie's favorite discs are Gateway Wizard, Innova Sidewinder, and Dynamic Discs Pearl, and she throws a right-handed back hand. Among the many courses she has played, her favorite is Firefighters Memorial Park in Kingman, AZ. She has enjoyed her sponsorship with Discing4Kids and has shown hard work and great improvement since her involvement with the organization.
